Capacitate- CREATIVITY

As the sultry weather kicks in, let me pick up a more fresh theme for this week- a thing which we should exercise more, but we don’t give much food to it- a perspective that we should hold more, but the picture gets blurry with pragmatism- a trait that would bring in fresh approach to work and life-but we are happily settled with monotony- i.e. Creative Thinking Pattern (CTP).

By CTP, I don’t mean finding unique ideas of production or devising new software, it simply means stretching your mind in different direction and horizons so as to promote its growth and find inspiration for routine lives.

How often do you really brainstorm or how often do you experiment with routine life?

What we have long forgotten is creativity is anything that adds the fun element to life, that gets you elated and excited and that fills you with liveliness.

You do not need to have high IQ’s to practice creative thinking, using the available resources, senses and intellect you can practice CTP. It is simply sharpening your blade for an exciting routine life.

Still not convinced, let me give you 5 fabulous reasons of why you should practice CTP often:

  1. When you enter your creative flow, some of the striking ideas for life kick in- that will impact your performance, productivity and potency.
  2. Routine responsibilities of work, job and personal lives often block our creative flow, leaving us in the noise of nuances.
  3. Think of CTP as a meditative practice, letting your imagination take fancy flights- it not only relaxes your mind from the everyday stress but also opens up the mind to new possible ideas and opportunities.
  4. Getting in the creative flow improves health and happiness-how? Have you ever tried spending a Saturday evening indulging in something that you loved as a hobby-like sketching or stitching? When you practice CTP, hormones like dopamine and endorphins release in your system affecting your overall happiness and health.
  5. CTP is NOT thinking out of the box nor is it rocket science. It is basically finding “YOUR” kind of idea to simple stuff in life-like arranging your living room furniture for more space or placing a folded paper for a coaster or fixing your son’s bike.
