The level of your energy, time and attention is directly
proportional to performance, productivity and potency. The following ideas can help any individual
manage ETA and boost their 3Ps.
·
Room for REVIVAL:
Whenever we push ourselves to work on tasks longer than our capacity allows- we collapse.
Hence it is important to take regular breaks in between the work. Regular
intervals help to refuel your energy providing for better focus and hence
better performance. One sorted idea to incorporate systematic breaks is trying
the Pomodoro technique which allows one to work in short bursts taking small
intervals in between. It helps you to fight distractions and allows for a
consistent performance.
·
Tap on your
ENERGY rhythms: When it comes to energy rhythms, no two individuals are the
same. We all are differently wired, some of us are morning chirpers while
others maybe night owls. Figure out which slot of the day are you more
productive, when does the power to prevail kick in. The idea is to find the
highest energy levels in the day and tap into it- take up complex tasks in the slot
after breakfast or do power meetings after lunch depending what suits you best.
·
Sleep is
SUBSTANTIAL: Some people function sharp on just 4 hours of sleep, on the
other hand people like me are lifeless if they sleep for less than 6 hours. What
is your sleeping pattern? How much sleep is enough for your energy levels to
soar through the day? Research has proven time and again that taking power naps
is an effective trick to perk up the energy, performance and mood. A lot of revolutionaries like Bill Clinton,
Leonardo Da Vinci, John F. Kennedy and many more swear by the power of naps.
Rightly said: No day is so bad it can’t
be fixed with a nap- Carrie Snow

Catch on
some EXERCISE: One of the best ideas to uplift the energies and attention
is to spend some on exercising. If you are a beginner start with short
workouts, experiment and find out what type and routines enhance your vigour. I
get all charged up by a good morning pilates session. A lot of people fight
their afternoon lethargy by taking up early evening activities. Notice how just
30 minutes of physical activity leads to a fresh perspective on things with
improved attention and zeal.
These ideas may sound elementary but their complementary implementation can bring a massive change to your ETA.
