HAPPY NEW YEAR FELLAS!
2022: power, financial freedom, work-life balance, proud, gratitude, vacation, happiness, love
If this is what you want to focus on this year, I bet this series of incremental progress is just perfect for your read.
This year we will focus on small changes that can lead to increemental progress, that will transform your life tremendously.
Incremental progress can be achieved by tiny changes that occurs slowly and are less drastic, but can bring radical improvement in one's life provided one is consistent.
The idea is to do a little bit each day, even if it is only for a few minutes at a time.
In every field of life, if we make one minor movement or one small step, eventually after 365 days, it will multiply our progress. For example, if you want to write a book, just writing 5 pages everyday by the end of a month you have 150 pages first draft ready in your hand.
I myself have made small changes in my lifestyle that have helped me make some major progress professionally and personallly.
Before we embark any journey of transformation, it is imperative to look at our current situation and life and analyse our habits. Habits are actions that we perform everyday. They are automatic and instinctive. ALthough, we do them subconciously, we do have a control on our habits. They are behaviours that we as individuals have learnt but they work as reflex over time.
For example, brushing your teeth, right after you get up, is one good habit thta has been developed over the time.
Being aware of your current habits is the first step toward changing your behavior for a progressive life. You have the power to transform your life through the power of habits.
I highly recommend reading this book , if you are looking to make your life better.
In a future post, I'll show you how you how to implement tiny changes in your life to see dramatic and blisteringly fast results!
Although we do them subconsciously, you do have control over your habits. Habits don't just simply appear. They're learned behaviors that work almost like a reflex over time.
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act, but a habit.” — Aristotle
